Purus Cosmetics shaliner swatches

 Monday, August 31, 2009

Here are some swatches of the Purus Cosmetics shaliners. Sorry guys, I was hoping that these pics would show up better, but they aren't that great...my camera has kind of been freaking out on me. So they don't really do justice to these colors. For more information on the shaliners check out my previous blog post as well as my youtube video- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wr_FaEJLvQ

Purus Cosmetics Shaliners

So far, I have been very pleased these shaliners from Purus cosmetics. They come in a variety of different colors and are highly pigmented, as well as versatile. I find that they go on quite nicely and are easy to blend and work with. Several of these shadows pair perfectly and they can be combined together for several different types of looks. Although I have only used them as eyeshadows, according to the website they can also be used as liner and cheek color. At $5 each, I feel that these are a great deal and worth trying out. If you are unsure as to what colors you may like, you can always order samples for only 1 cent. My only slight draw back to these (which I forgot to mention in my video) is that I've noticed that with some of them, it can be a little difficult to get the shadow into the top of the container. It seems as though some of the shadows are thicker than the holes that they have provided. But that can be fixed easily enough. Anyhow, if you'd like to check these out go to http://www.puruscosmetics.com/
